4th Annual


Grand Finale Fun Night

  • Hot dog, soda, chips - available after 5 PM
  • Golf skills & activities events - start at 6 PM

  • Cost per junior: $20.00





  • Participation in the Tuesday & Thursday clinics – ONLY – is free (note: raffle participation is expected). Utilizing MRJG Program privileges, at other times, requires a membership fee.  For juniors whose mailing address is inside the Octorara Area School District, the membership fee is $15.  For all others, the membership fee is $30.00.        Payment should be made in the Pro Shop.  (See separate information sheet for membership privileges.) 
  • Age limit: 8-18.  Young children should be accompanied by adults. 
  • During set time periods, juniors with member privileges may play and/or hit range balls, at no cost or reduced rates.   Range balls may be obtained (no charge) Monday through Friday, 9AM to 7:30PM: course play is allowed Monday through Friday, after 1PM. Green fees are $10 for 9 holes and $15 for 18 holes.  Play is free after 6PM.  After 6PM, adults accompanying MRJG juniors can play for $10. Exceptions to these guidelines will be by special permission from Pro Shop personnel. 
  • Other than for the Tuesday & Thursday clinics, juniors should report to Pro Shop employees and ask to use their privileges.  To assure course availability, playing times should be arranged by calling ahead (610-593-2600). 
  • Individuals 18 and older may rent carts.  Whenever juniors ride in a cart the driver must be 18 or older. 
  • Proper golf attire is expected. Juniors are to take all equipment home daily. 
  • Juniors should be picked up before the clubhouse closes (8:00 PM).  Parents should be aware of potential bad weather and be on hand to pick up juniors. 
  • Exceptional behavior and good manners are expected, at all times.  Golf etiquette is to be learned and used. 
  • All MRJG juniors are expected to help keep the course in the best possible condition.  Examples of ways to help include;  repair ball marks, rake traps, put trash in containers, replace divots, treat putting greens with extra care, hit from designated areas, and return empty range buckets to the Pro Shop.

Major Points to Remember

  • MRJG exists through the generosity of the course owners – the King family.
  • All benefits are privileges.  Privileges can be changed, modified or withdrawn, at any time.
  • Golf is based upon honesty, integrity, good sportsmanship, good manners, controlled behavior and respect for others.
  • Juniors should always check in with clubhouse personnel (other than for Tuesday & Thursday clinics).  To avoid not being able to get out on the course, call ahead (610-593-2600).
  • All MRJG juniors are expected to participate in the fundraiser raffle.  
  • MRJG privileges are solely for juniors who have completed the sign-up form.
  • Junior clubs are available in the Pro Shop (new/used/free). Check with Golf Pro, Rodney King.
  • Have fun and benefit from all of what the game of golf teaches.
